The health of employees is the most valuable capital for every enterprise.

We want to avoid accidents and illness and therefore propose solutions that ensure a healthy workplace is secured and maintained. We objectively assess the condition of your company and complete the necessary documentation.

If you have at least one employee, you are obliged to provide occupational health service under Act No. 355/2007 Coll. on the Protection, Promotion and Development of Public Health. You can form your own occupational health team (with an occupational physician, nurse and public health professional at a minimum) or via an authorised vendor.

The scope of your obligations under the law depends on the difficulty and type of work and from work environment factors with an effect on workers and their health during work activities.

What are your obligations?

We objectively assess the condition of your company and complete the necessary documentation. We help you avoid occupational disease among your employees. We propose solutions that ensure a healthy workplace is secured and maintained.

The basic occupational health service bundle for category I and II work includes:

  • an initial audit,
  • categorisation of work activities and completion of a risk assessment record,
  • completion of a template for preventative medicals,
  • completion of accident response guidelines,
  • completion of a trauma plan.

We use the initial audit to determine if your existing occupational health service must be expanded under the law (such as to include the quantitative measurement of individual factors). We conduct this occupational health service at workplaces associated with higher level health risks (category III and IV work). We propose a solution after the audit is complete or based on a detailed specification of your situation. We then inform you of your obligations under the law.

Our occupational health team also provides:

  • accredited first aid courses,
  • preventative medicals,
  • consulting and professional counselling (contract clients),
  • representation in communication with the competent authorities (contract clients),
  • assistance in reporting the categorisation of work activities,
  • replenishment and inspection of first aid kits at the workplace (contact lekarnicky@gajos.sk for more information).
